For the first time in her career Chloe Magee has reach the main draw of the All English Championships, regarded as the Wimbledon of the Badminton world.
Chloe won both her qualifying games on Tuesday to reach next stage of the Premier Super Series event in Birmingham.
The Donegal Olympian beat India’s Saili Rane in the first match in 47 minutes, 23-21 22-20.
Chloe followed that result with another victory last night coming from a set down against Russia’s Natalia Perminova to win 13-21, 21-17, 21-11
Chloe who is ranked at 44th in the world will take on Hsu Ya Ching today.
The Chinese player is ranked 12 places lower than Chloe at 56.
Sam Magee had to pull out of the event due to illness.
