Gardai have issued a warning to the public across Donegal regarding the advertising and sale of fake iPhone 5’s.
The phones look like the original Apple i Phone 5 and come boxed with an instruction manual, a charger, and earphones.
However, the phones will not power up, accept a sim card and are useless with no comeback for the purchaser.
Local Garda Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Paul Wallace is appealing to members of the public who have been caught this scam, to come forward to Gardai………
