Motorists urged to drive with care has high winds hit county

treedownGardai are asking motorists to drive with extreme care this morning has high winds batter the county.
Met Eireann say they were expecting windy conditions overnight and Donegal got the worst of it.
It’s understood a number of trees are down around the county, and motorists driving the Lifford to Letterkenny Road are asked to drive with care as there is a tree down between Letterkenny and Manorcunningham.
Forecaster John Eagleton says the winds should die down as the day goes on though:
