The sustainability of the Post Office network is to be examined this morning.
The joint Oireachtas committee on transport and communications, will discuss how expanding the products and services An Post currently provides can secure it’s future.
The number of post offices has reduced by almost 50 per cent over the past 13 years, and last month, Independent Deputy Thomas Pringle told Highland Radio News that Donegal could lose 30 post offices if the government doesn’t act.
