A Councillor is calling on the government to make more money available for Housing Adaptation Grants.
Gerry Mc Monagle says a number of people approved for a Home Adaptation Grant by there council were later informed that the council was not in a position to award the grant as it had no money.
The Housing Adaptation Grants is targeted at those with disabilities or mobility issues to allow them adapt their homes.
Councillor McMonagle says these people should not be impacted by austerity:
