A Donegal County Cllr has expressed his disappointment after the Transport Minister refused to meet with a delegation regarding the upgrading of Fintra Bridge.
Minister Leo Varadkar contacted Cllr Brendan Byrne on Tuesday via email saying that he was not in a position to meet with any delegation due to a full diary.
This is despite the fact the Minister will be in Donegal this Friday to officially open the nearby Bruckless Bridge.
Cllr Byrne says the Fintra Bridge is in urgent need of upgrading, as it is the only route into the entire Slieve League Peninsula:
