Donegal County Council is to establish a working group to decide what form a new council chamber should take.
The council will have an extra eight members after May to reflect the abolition of town councils, bringing its membership to 37, and making the cuirrent chamber too small.
An interim solution has been agreed which will see the council meet in the training room at County House, but a new chamber will have to be built, with the old army barracks in Lifford being proposed as one possible venue.
Cllr Terence Slowey proposed this week that the working group be established, saying he wants a wide range of people involved……….
