One of Donegal’s leading barristers has supported calls from a judge for people who do not turn up for jury services to explain why they didn’t.
Judge Keenan Johnson made the comments this week after a number of people called to be chosen to be on jury panels didn’t appear.
Peter Nolan says it is a regular occurrence and believes its not fair on those that do turn up to do their duty when others do not:
