A local election candidate in the Stranorlar Electoral Area says Lifford needs an economic stimulus that will encourage small and medium-sized businesses to set up in Donegal’s capital town.
Fine Gael’s Bert Galbraith says steps could be taken to encourage businesses to set up in some of the vacant units in the town that would stimulate the local economy and provide much-needed employment.
Mr Galbraith says Lifford is ideally situated to act as a hub for cross border businesses if the right encouragement is provided…………..
