A family from Co Wexford who were visiting the county for the weekend have been left badly shaken after their jeep was stolen in the early hours of this morning.
At around 4am the house the family were staying in on McBride Street in Raphoe was broken in to.
The intruders then subsequently stole their jeep, which was later found burnt out in the Convoy area.
Local Cllr Gerry Crawford says such incidents send out the wrong message to people looking to visit Donegal:
