Local election posters hampering NW Garden Show promotion

The orgainsers of this years North West Garden Show have expressed grave concerns about their ability to promote the event this year because of the large amount of election signage that has been erected.
The event which runs on the 24th and 25th of this month and is organised by the Castlefinn Partnership Initiative which has a limited promotional budget and relies heavily on roadside signs to promote the event.
However there is little space for promotional signage because of the signs erected by local candidates.
Evelyn Mc Glynn of the CPI says they aren’t asking for the signs to be taken down, but are seeking extra help in promoting the event:
