Flash Floods In Kerrykeel

Serious flash floods struck Kerrykeel around 5.30pm Tuesday and a sports complex and family homes on two estates have suffered severe water
damage with residents forced to vacate their homes. At the height of the deluge it was reported that a tornado was seen nearby on Mulroy Bay. Firemen from Milford were at the scene for over two hours. The local community played a heroic role along with the fire service from Milford to make sure that nobody was  injured or trapped in their homes.
