Arson attack on Sinn Fein’s Derry HQ

sinn fein logo There has been an arson attack on Sinn Féin’s main office in Derry. It happened at Eastway Road in the Creggan area just before midnight last night. It’s understood a rear window was broken and a flammable liquid poured in. The fire was brought under control quickly and damage was confined to one part of the building. Police have confirmed they are investigating the attack, and the scene has been preserved. Foyle MLA Raymond Mc Cartney says this must be condemned as an attempt to attack the democratic process, but will not stop Sinn Fein working for the people of Derry and the wider north west. He’s hoping they can get into the office to assess the damage shortly……
