The Republic of Ireland Women’s U17 squad kick-off their UEFA Women’s U17 Championship qualifying round today in Serbia without Donegal’s Zoe McGlynn.
The Lagan Harps girl had to withdraw because of a hamstring injury.
Zoe who has two caps to her name will be very disappointed not to be part of team that will play three games between today and next Wednesday.
The first game is against Lithuania this afternoon and then on Sunday they play Romania with their final game next week is against the hosts Serbia.
In other Internationals this week, Donegal players Dale Gorman, Chris Flanagan, Harry Doherty and Peter Burke were involved in games.
Gorman was part of the Northern Ireland u19 who played in a mini international tournament where the won one and lost two.
Flanagan, Doherty and Burke were part of the Republic of Ireland teams that played warm up games against Sweden ahead Uefa Championships next month.
