Man due in court on Derry rape charge

A man is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court today charged with rape after a woman in her 30s was attacked while walking home in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police say the woman was seriously sexually assaulted in the Limavady Road area of the city.
Police say extensive enquiries were carried out by officers, and a short time later, a 34-year-old man was identified and arrested.
