Barry McNamee has emerged as a doubt for Derry City’s final two games of the season including the FAI Cup Final against St Pats.
The Ramelton midfielder limped out of Derry’s league defeat to UCD at the Brandywell last Friday night.
He aggravated a troublesome groin injury and manager Peter Hutton is hoping it doesn’t rule him out of the final on the 2nd November.
The groin issue has been giving McNamee some trouble over the last few games.
Derry play their final league game of the season this Friday at Dalymount against Bohemians.
