There were more protests against Irish Water meter installers in Donegal today, this time at Dromore Park in Killygordon.
Cllr Gary Doherty says they secured agreement that no work would be done outside houses where people did not want the meters.
Gardai were at the scene, but did not intervene. Cllr Doherty says they indicated they have no issue with people carrying out peaceful protests.
It follows a similar scenario in Castlefinn yesterday, described by Cllr Doherty as “a long day with plenty of tense stand-offs”.
He says this is a “Peoples’ Revolution”, which he believes spells the beginning of the end for Irish Water………
