After the Republic of Ireland’s 4-1 win over the USA last night, manager Martin O’Neill denied he has a problem with Everton after leaving full-back Seamus Coleman out of the side.
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright had criticised comments by Roy Keane about their attitude towards letting players go on international duty.
O’Neill says he simply didn’t want to risk Coleman, who’s had a few niggly injuries and that Everton were informed..
