The SDLP in West Tyrone has selected Strabane representative Daniel Mc Crossan to contest next year’s British General Election.
Mr Mc Crossan will challenge Sinn Fein’s Pat Doherty, saying that an abstentionist MP has stunted the growth of Omagh and Strabane and singularly failed to advance the interests of the North West.
However, Mr Crossan says rather than focussing on Sinn Fein and Mr Doherty’s record, he will be campaing on a positive messge of change and commitment from the SDLP……………
