Seamus Coleman is again being linked with a move away from Everton.
Reports over the last few days have said Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal considers Coleman to be perfect for either of his formations and a more reliable defender than Rafael.
The £25m-rated right back could play further forward in a 3-5-2 or in the 4-4-2.
United were keen on landing Coleman during the summer but a swap deal involving former Everton star Marouane Fellaini failed to materialise.
Chelsea have also expressed an interest in Coleman.
Everton are keen to bring Adnan Januzaj to Goodison on loan until the end of the season and the Belgium star could be used a deal sweetener in a possible January switch for the Killybegs man..
