Met Eireann issues wind warning for North West

Met Eireann has issued a wind warning for the North West today.
The weather forecaster is predicting winds ranging from 50-to-70 kilometres per-hour across Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo – with gusts of up to 110 kilometres per-hour later tonight.
The yellow alert, which came into effect at midnight, will remain in place until around 10pm.
Meanwhile, motorists are being advised to drive with care this morning due to wet road conditions particularly around Co Donegal after a number of heavy hail showers.
