Weather update : Now almost 7,000 homes without power

There are now (1:30pm) almost 7,000 homes and businesses without power in Donegal as high winds continue to batter the North West and West coasts.
A Met Eireann Status red Weather Alert remains in place.
The updated list of affected areas from ESB Networks is –

It’s hoped all areas can be restored by 5 o’clock this evening.
