Met Éireann has issued a status yellow snow and ice warning for Co Donegal.
Wintry showers will bring up to 3cm of snow on lower ground tomorrow and into Thursday, with all areas at risk.
Showers will be most frequent in the northwest and over hills and mountains, with higher snow accumulations expected there.
The snow warning will start at 6am tomorrow and remain in place until 11pm on Thursday.
A Status Yellow wind warning is also in place with gusts between 90 and 110km/h forecast for tomorrow. They will be strongest along the west and northwest coasts.
The Road Safety Authority is advising all motorists to take extra care.
