Donegal North East Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue has told the Dail it will be years before much of Donegal receives a proper broadband service, and that’s hampering development and job creation.
Deputy Mc Conalogue asked Communications Minister Alex White to outline a timeline for the provision of a proper broadband service across the county.
Minister White said just over half of Donegal will require state intervention, and that won’t happen overnight……
Deputy Mc Conalogue said this means it will be 2020 before many areas of Donegal receive a proper service, which he says isn’t good enough…….
