There is deep shock and sadness at the death of award-winning tour guide Martin McCrossan from Derry.
Mr. McCrossan passed away with his family at his bedside in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast early on Friday afternoon.
Paying tribute Foyle MP Mark Durkan said Martin McCrossan personified Derry hospitality with his ease of company, his constant humour and his effort of care.
Meanwhile, Mayor Cllr Brenda Stevenson says the news of his sudden death had caused widespread shock across the city.
She confirmed that a Book of Condolence will be open at the Guildhall later this evening:
