First International win for Kelly & Flanagan

Donagh Kelly and Kevin Flanagan took their first International rally victory by taking the overall top spot at the weekend’s Galway Rally.
After two days of action in the west, the Donegal driver in his Ford Focus WRC had 39 seconds to spare over rest of the field.
The crew also lead the Irish Tarmac Championship after the first round.
Eugene Donnelly in a Mini finished second while Sam Moffett in a Fiesta was third.
Defending Tarmac Champions Declan and Brian Boyle came home 5th in their Subaru after losing over three minutes on Saturday.
Declan and Ryan Moore got the defence of their Modified crown off to a good start by winning the two wheel drive.
The Toyota Starlet was almost two and a half minutes faster than Michael Conlon in an Escort.
