An investigation is underway in Derry after a shop in the Hazelbank area was ram raided overnight.
The incident happened at Rosskeen Park in the early hours of this morning. It’s understood a number of items and a sum of money were taken, the extent of the damage and what was taken is still being asssessed.
The car, a black Citroen C1, was stolen from the Shearwater area in Waterside.
Local Cllr Eric Mc Ginley says this is the latest in a series of incidents in the wider area involving car crime and amounts to nothing more than an attack on a local business and the wider community……….
