The Irish Athletics team led by Letterkenny’s Mark English departed Dublin this morning for Prague, Czech Republic ahead of this weekend’s European Indoor Championships.
Letterkenny’s Danny Mooney also boarded the plane ahead of his first senior championships in an Irish jersey while Teresa McDaid is the Operations Manager for the trip.
English is among the favourites for the 800 metres, having won bronze at the outdoor Euros last year in Zurich and the UCD student knows all about the main contenders around him…
