Ireland’s Danny Mooney came sixth in his 1500 semi-final at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Prague.
While this means the end of his interest in the championship, it was a great experience for the young Letterkenny AC competitor.
Meanwhile, his Irish team mate John Travers finished third in his 1,500m semi-final at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Prague, qualifying for the final as the sole fastest loser.
His time of 3 minutes, 41-point-37 seconds is a new lifetime best.
