A fifth player has walked away from the Tyrone squad in the wake of relegation to Division Two of the National Football League.
PJ Lavery has decided to quit the Red Hands, just days after the departure of Paddy McNeice, Shay McGuigan, Emmet McKenna and Dwayne Quinn.
Frustration at a lack of game time afforded to them during the league is understood to be behind the of original quartet’s decisions to leave.
However, Lavery played in all seven league games. He started just one game, and made appearances off the bench in the remaining six, and was considered an integral member of the panel.
