Kris Meeke holds a 38 second advantage going into Sunday’s final day of Rally Argentina.
The County Tyrone driver seen his overnight 1 minute and 8 second lead reduced to just 32 seconds after problems on the opening two tests on Saturday.
The Citreon man regrouped to maintain that advantage and the increase it by a further six seconds on the last stage of the day.
His team-mate Mats Ostberg is second with Volkswagen’s Jarri Matti Latvala third.
As for Meeke, the Dungannon man and his Kerry co-driver Paul Nagle are just 32km from a first ever WRC victory.
