Work on upgrading high speed broadband for Gaeltacht areas in Donegal has been undertaken in conjunction with Udaras na Gaeltachta and Eircom.
Areas such as Glen Cholm Cille, An Charraig, Falcarragh and Annagry to name a few will now avail of better broadband services.
The news has been welcomed by local Councillor Seamus O’ Domhnaill who says the pressure will now be on Eircom to provide the same service to other Gaeltacht areas:
