A Buncrana councillor says Scoil Iosagain has become a victim of its own success, and the sooner a planning application is lodged for a new school campus, the better.
Cllr Rena Donaghey was speaking after it emerged this week that a number of sixth class pupils are walking from the school to the disused Buncrana Leisure Centre for classes because there is no room in the current school building.
Cllr Rena Donaghey says the school is one of the biggest National Schools in Donegal, and people are relocating to Buncrana because it has such a good reputation, particularly for pupils with special needs………
