Junior Health Minister Kathleen Lynch has officially opened the new Ballyshannon Health Campus, on the site of the former St. Catherine’s Convent.
It provides primary care services in the South Donegal area servicing a population of approx 10,000. It also brings together HSE services that were provided from a number of different locations within the town.
The centre became operational at the end of last month, with approximately 100 staff based there between the Primary Care Centre and other HSE services.
