Concerns have been raised as to when a school in Donegal Town will receive funding under the Capital Grant programme 2016-202.
Yesterday, it was announced by the education minister that 12 schools in the county are to be included in the programme.
However, it has been claimed Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí which is in temporary accommodation, will have to wait until at least 2019 to get the funding they have been allocated.
Fianna Fail candidate Pat The Cope Gallagher says it’s simply too long to wait, and he wants the school pushed further up the priority list.
