Assembly to meet at Stormont to pave the way for new deal to be implement

A special sitting of the Assembly will be take place at Stormont to pave the way for Westminster to legislate for welfare reform in Northern Ireland.
It follows a new agreement between the DUP and Sinn Féin yesterday, which also allows for the North’s Corporation Tax rate to be lowered to match the 12.5% rate in the Republic.
Another element of the deal will see the Irish government increase its initial contribution to works on the A5 to £75 million.
