Man dies following Dungloe house fire

A man has died following a house fire in Dungloe. 
The fire was first reported at 2.30am this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene and performed CPR on arrival however, the man who is said to be in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
It’s believed the victim was the sole occupant of the house.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination which is due to be carried out later today but Gardai say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
