A meeting regarding the recent flooding crisis in Donegal has been positive according to various public representatives who attended.
The meeting which was arranged by Minister Joe McHugh took place yesterday in Dublin and CEO of Donegal County Council, members of the OPW and the Loughs Agency.
Various issues were discussed, including the need for a long term flood prevention plan for the River Finn and its catchment area.
Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle also attended the meeting; he says it’s a step in right direction:
