123 homes are now without power in West Donegal as Storm Henry makes landfall. The figure was 1,029 shortly after 8.30 this morning, but 900 homes have had their power restored.
An orange wind warning remains in effect in Donegal and eight other counties on the Western Seaboard.
Strong winds of up to 110 kilometres per hour are expected, with Met Eireann also warning of exceptional wave heights, possibly reaching 12 to 15 meters off the Donegal coast this afternoon.
ESB Networks say the outages are concentrated around Dungloe, and should be rectified by 12 noon.l
