English starts the season with second place in Germany

Mark English started his indoor season with a second place finish in the 800m in Dusseldorf Germany last night.
The Letterkenny man who runs under UCD and won European indoor silver last year finished behind Qatar’s Balla in the second 800 race of the night in a time of 1:47.28.
The other race was won by Poland’s Adam Kszczot in 1:46.0.
English’s time was the fourth fastest on the night.
In preparation for the season ahead which includes a trip to the Olympics in Rio., Mark had spent the month of January training in South Africia.
