Man and woman charged after heroin and cannabis are seized in Letterkenny

A man and woman in their 40s and 30s respectively are due before Letterkenny District Court in March, after they were arrested and charged with possession of heroin and cannabis on Friday night.
Gardai say €1,700 worth of heroin was discovered along with an estimated €20,000 worth of ca\nnabis resin.
The drugs were found during a planned search of a house in the Long Lane area of Letterkenny.
A man and woman were subsequently arrested and charged. They were released bail, to appear in court next month.
