Donegal rower Sinead Jennings has revealed that she is confident of representing Ireland at the Olympics in Rio this summer.
Sinead, from Letterkenny, explained on Sunday Sport that Ireland has a boat qualified for the Games but the two rowers for the boat will not be chosen until next month.
However, she said that she and her rowing partner Claire Lambe have a strong case to be the double pairing as they have been fastest in training.
She also said that she has no regrets about coming out of retirement to try to qualify for the Rio Olympics and she is not put off by fears linked to the Zika virus outbreak in Brazil…
