Urgent call on NRA to address safety issues at Magherabeg School

There have been calls for the NRA to address the road safety issues at Magherabeg School without delay.
The school, which has 122 pupils attending is in close proximity to the N13 and is a huge cause of concern for parents and teachers.
A recent traffic survey of the National Primary Route showed that for the half hour in the morning, a total of 18 vehicles per minute passed the school and for the half hour in the evening a total of 20 vehicles per minute are driven past.
Sinn Fein Election Candidate Padraig Mac Lochlainn says he has been contact with locals and it remains a major concern:
