Update – Pearse Doherty elected to Dail Eireann

Pearse Doherty has been returned to Dail Eireann following the distribution of his party colleague Gary Doherty’s votes.
When  Gary Doherty’s 4,456 votes were distributed, 3,410 of them went to Pearse Doherty, bringing him comfortably over the quota with a surplus of 2,382 which is now being distributed………
