Police in Derry are treating a weekend attack on a house in the Fountain area as sectarian.
Police are also investigating a petrol bomb attack on a car at Harty Court on Saturday night.
The car sustained damage to the bonnet when the petrol bomb struck it shortly after 8 o’clock on Saturday night.
Fire service personnel attended and extinguished the fire, police say their enquiries to establish a motive for the attack are ongoing.
Meanwhile, police in the city have confirmed an incident of criminal damage at a house in Aubrey Street in the early hours of yesterday morning is being treated as a sectarian motivated hate crime.
A window was smashed when a bin was thrown at it. There were no reports of any injuries to the five occupants of the house and enquiries into the incident are continuing.
