Snow and ice warning in place for Donegal as temperatures set to plummet

 

There are two weather alerts in place for Donegal tonight.
There’s an orange wind warning for western counties, with gusts of up to 130 kilometres an hour in exposed coastal areas.
A snow and ice warning for is also in place for Donegal, Connacht, Leinster, Cavan/Monaghan, with up to 3 centimetres forecast and larger accumulations possible on higher ground.
