Donegal lady wins SSE Airtricity 10-mile road race in Derry

There was a strong Donegal showing in the SSE Airtricity 10-mile Road Race at Ebrington Square in Derry.
Some 309 runners, male and female, finished on Saturday and the ladies’ section was won by Donegal runner Natasha Adams.
Natasha, who runs for Letterkenny AC and lives in Strabane, finished first with a finish time of 57:51.
She beat Catherine Whoriskey (Derry Spartans: 62:08) and Karen Alexander (Acorns AC of Magherafelt: 64:32).
In the men’s section, Donegal runner Ciaran McGonagle of Rosses AC finished sixth on a time of 56:60.
It was won by Kenyan runner Gideon Kimosop of Omagh AC on time of 50:04.
He beat Andrew Annette (Belfast Harriers: 53:35) and John Black (Belfast Harriers: 54:45).
