It has been confirmed that former TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn will contest the Seanad Election after receiving a nomination from the Sinn Fein party.
MacLochlainn, who narrowly missed out on the final Dail seat in the Donegal Constituency in the General Election, will contest a Seanad seat on the Industrial and Commercial Panel for the party.
He says during the General Election campaign he appreciated the huge support in the county and if elected to the Seanad, he will continue to fight for the people of Donegal……….
