Seamus Coleman delighted at captaining Ireland to win

Four players from the North West finished Ireland’s win over Switzerland on Friday night and it was Donegal’s Seamus Coleman who captained the side to victory.
The Boys In Green beat the Swiss in Dublin thanks to a very early headed goal from defender Ciaran Clarke, whose late grandmother was from Milford and he still has relatives in Buncrana and across Inishowen.
Donegal’s Seamus Coleman started, as did Derry man Shane Duffy, whose dad is from Letterkenny, while Derry pair Eunan O’Kane of Bournemouth and West Brom’s James McClean came on as subs.
Everton’s Seamus captained the team for the pre-Euro 2016 friendly and said it was a proud moment…
