Finn Harps managr Ollie Horgan praised his players after they beat Longford Town on Saturday as they secured three valuable points.
Harps had lost their previous six matches against Longford, but Ollie said they deservedly took the lead and held on for the three points.
He said the points are all that really mattered, following a tough opening start to the season, and admitted his players’ “backs were against the wall” in the last half hour.
Harps’ Ethan Boyle was brought down in the penalty box and Ryan Curran scored from the spot on 58 minutes to win the game.
